Let’s face it. You’ve spent months picking out perfect gifts for your family members and friends, you’ll be the one cooking the holiday feast, and the one who will clean up afterward. As much as the holidays are about giving to others, it should also be about taking the time and effort to give back to yourself. You’re amazing and absolutely deserve it!

I know many of you have spent so long thinking of others, that you might not have a clue where to begin buying for yourself- and I’m not talking about buying necessities like groceries, sponges, and laundry detergent! That’s why we’ve compiled a list of fun (and even useful) ways you can treat yourself this holiday.

1. For Technology Buffs

1. Acer Chromebook Spin 11 CP511-1HN-C7Q1 Touch

Chuck out your old desktop and get yourself a hardworking, two-in-one computer under $400! Now you’ll have your computer for work and web surfing, but you’ll also have a tablet! Just flip it and use the stylus pen to write, draw, or color! We love the Acer Chromebook Spin 11 because of it’s got decent storage at 4 GB onboard memory and an additional 32 GB storage, hearty two core processor, and up to 10 hours of battery life. All for a reasonable price!

2. The Brand New Echo

Whether you already have an Echo or not, the newest version of Amazons helpful little product is just what you need to end 2018 and kick off the new year. Video chat your children or grandchildren, watch helpful cooking videos while cooking (no need to touch the screen just tell it what to do!), and use it as home security! Don’t worry about it breaking the bank either, because it’s well under $300 and often on sale for even less.

3.  Wireless Charging Port

Normally, we would recommend a specific brand, but a good wireless charging port needs to be compatible with your specific device. Luckily, there are many options out there for your Samsung or IOS device! For starters, check out Nomad’s wireless charging port for IOS devices or Samsung’s fast-charger for your android. Just make sure your phone is QI capable before purchasing.

2. For Cooking Queens

1. KitchenAid Mixer

There are almost no limits to what you can do with a KitchenAid mixer. First of all, it’s a compact little machine that’s perfect for whipping up meals and desserts with. Plus, it has a bunch of different attachments that will allow you to really explore the culinary world. Make homemade pasta, peel your vegetables with ease, or even grind meat! The only limit might just be your imagination.

2. Meal Kits

Take the hassle out of cooking and food shopping for a few months with a meal kit delivered straight to your door! We love Home Chef because it offers a variety of recipes, like 5-minute lunches, standard meals, and premium meals. It is also a wonderful option for those who have dietary restrictions or preferences! They also offer free shipping for orders $45 or more and often have great deals or free meal options!

3. Cuisinart SmartStick Blender

You will be amazed at the difference a stick blender will make in your kitchen. Make purees with ease, creamy soup with no hassle, or blend up a smoothie in your favorite cup. It’s easy to store and even easier to clean! We love Cuisinart’s hand blender because it offers multiple speeds at the turn of a dial instead of low, medium, or fast settings.

3. For Gardening Geniuses

1. Aquatic Gardening

Create a soothing mini-ecosystem in your kitchen with an aquatic garden that grows fresh food with the help of fish! Your fish fertilizes the plants and the plants clean and oxygenate the tank! You don’t even need to worry about watering the plants!  If you’re just getting started with aquatic gardening, go for a microgreen and herb kit. They’re smaller and can grow with the help of a single betta fish.

2. Plant Lamp

If you’re sick of having your plants die every time the season changes, try an indoor plant lamp. We love the OUTAD’s plant grow light because it offers timers, has dimmable light options for your low light plants, and produces lots of light with minimal heat. The best part? It’s under $40! Long live your green thumb!

3. A Fun Garden Accessory

If you spend a lot of time in your garden it might be nice to have some decorations out there! Even if it isn’t something you would usually spend money on, treat yourself to a fun outdoor decoration. Let your mind wander and pick the best thing you can think of!

4. For the Crafter

1. Cricut

If you’re a hardcore crafter than you’ve probably heard about and drooled over the Cricut. It’s a small but powerful tool that can cut out amazing detailed patterns on anything from paper to leather. At $400, it might seem too expensive but this year you deserve to treat yourself! Plus, think about how much money you’ll save on future gifts- you’ll be able to make just about anything!

2. A Crafting Class

Even if you’re an old pro, it’s always nice to learn something new and meet people who love crafting as much as you do! So, this year find a crafting class on something new you’d like to learn or for something you’d like to get better at and go for it! Check out your local Michaels or Joann Fabrics for a place to start. Many of them are free or low cost, so there’s nothing to lose!

3. New Art Supplies

How long have you been using those old paintbrushes and markers? It’s time to get yourself new products! If you like to paint, get some new brushes and paints. If you love needlepoint, go for some new colored thread. Maybe you do woodworking- get yourself a new whittler! Bottom line, you deserve it!
